3. Grasp the tabs on the top and bottom of the screw hole and, gently pulling the drive
toward you (Figure 5-22), remove the drive from the system.
If you are replacing a defective drive, set it aside for repacking. See “Repacking
CRUs” on page 4-3.
Replacing a CD or DVD Drive
1. Insert the drive into the drive bay. Push firmly to engage the drive connector.
2. Insert the screw (number 1 in Figure 5-22) and tighten firmly.
3. Replace the CPU-I/O enclosure.
