8.3 NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service
Installation
NEC ESMPRO Manage r PXE Se rvice Installer cannot upgrade from NEC ESMPRO Manage r PXE Se rvice
under Ver.1.01.01. Uninstall the ol der version, and then install new version.
Note: All the r egistered information will be deleted as the result of the uninstalling.
NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Se rvice Installer cannot downgrade to the older version. If you want to use
the older version, uninstall the curr ent version and then install older version.

Other PXE services and software with the PXE Service
Before starting the NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service, stop other PXE services and software having the P
XE service function in the network. If you use other PXE services and software having the PXE service functi
on, stop the NEC ESMPRO Mana ger PXE se rvice and then start them. This procedure is necessary to start t
he service that you want to use.
<How to stop/start NEC DeploymentManager that has PXE server function>
Click "Run" from [start] of W indows. Enter the c ommand as following example. It sho ws case that the i nstalled
folder of NEC DeploymentManager is "C:¥Program Files¥NEC¥DeploymentManager".
To stop the service : "C:¥Program Files¥NEC¥DeploymentManager¥svcctrl" -stop
To start up the service : "C:¥Program Files¥NEC¥DeploymentManager¥svcctrl" -start
<How to stop/start Remote Install service>
To stop the service: Stop 3 services. Click [run] from [start] on Windows. Execute following each command:
“net stop BINLSVC”
” net stop TFTPD”
”net stop Groveler”
To start up the service : Perform the following procedure:
1. Click [control Panel] - [asministrative tool] - [Active Dir ectory user and computer] from [start]
on Windows.
2. Find "Remote Install" server computer in the [Active Directory user and computer] snap in.
3. Click the s erver computer and them c lick Property].
4. Click [Check server] on th e [Remote install] tab.
5. Follow the instruction of the wizard.
