Chapter 2 Preparations

6. Remove the top cover.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.6 Removing Top Cover).

7. Depending on the components to be installed or removed, follow the procedure in order.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.7 Internal Flash Memory (N8115-10)) to (1.17 Optical Disk Drive).

8. Attach the top cover.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.19 Installing Top Cover).

9. Mount the server onto the rack.

Refer to Chapter 2 (2.1.2 Installing the server to the rack or removing it from the rack (1) Installation).

10. Install Hard Disk Drives.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.20 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive).

11. Install Power Supply Unit

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.22 Power Supply Unit).

12. Attach the front bezel.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.5 Removing the Front Bezel).

This is the end of the installation or removal procedures for internal optional devices.

Continue the setup with reference to Chapter 2 (2.2 Connection).
