ERROR MESSAGES
If an error occurs in the server, an error message appears on the display unit connected to the server.
POST Error Messages
When POST detects an error, it displays an error message on the display unit screen. In addition,
depending on the error contents, the computer might beep to report that an error occurred.
The following table lists error messages and actions to take.
IMPORTANT:
Write down the messages displayed before contacting
your service representative. Alarm messages are useful information for
maintenance.
NOTE:
The list of POST error messages only contains messages for
the server. For details about the BIOS error messages for the SCSI
controller card and RAID controller, which are options connected to the
motherboard, and the actions to take, see the manuals that come with
the options.
