Upgrading Your Server 9-79
Installation
1. Prepare as described on page 9-4.
2. Pull the server out of the rack (as described on page 9-4).
3. Remove the drive cover (as described on page 9-25).
4. Determine the expansion slot in which to insert an additional fan.
5. Insert the fan straight into this slot.
Push the fan in until you hear a click indicating that the fan is locked into place.
6. Change the position of the JFANSEL_1 jumper strap on the fan board.
IMPORTANT: Do not change any other jumper settings. Doing so
might cause a server failure or incorrect operations.
